Airdrie are still looking for their first Championship win of the season as Partick Thistle fought back to win at Firhill. ‌

Cole McKinnon's thunderbolt early in the first half looked to be taking all three points back to Lanarkshire in a cagey game, until Dan O'Reilly popped up with a back-post header, 13 minutes from time, and Alex Samuel bagged a winner five minutes later. ‌

Up until O'Reilly's goal there weren't a great deal of chances as the sides pretty much cancelled each other out. ‌

With two wins and a draw from their last three games, Thistle went into this as firm favourites, especially in front of a home crowd.

However, Airdrie took the game to them from the start and led at the interval through a fantastic strike from McKinnon.
