ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The annual Ukrainian Festival is happening this weekend. It serves as a major fundraiser for the local group 518Ukrainians, which provides aid to those living in the country as the Russian war continues.
The festival is being held at the Polish Community Center on Washington Avenue Ext. in Albany. It celebrates Ukrainian culture and heritage and showcases a variety of traditional foods, crafts and artists.
The event also features performances by folk dancers, singers and bands. It starts at noon on Saturday. Live music will go until 10 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Kids five and under are free.
