COLUMBUS, Ohio — For Ohio State fans, Saturday’s game against Ohio University marks the Buckeyes’ first night game of the season — and students say they’re ready for it.
From tailgate setups to campus bars stocking up for crowds, anticipation is high ahead of the primetime kickoff at Ohio Stadium.
“Night games in general are always better,” said Ed Gaughan, owner of The O on Lane, a bar popular among students. “People in general probably get a little more spirited in the night games, for sure. And that’s kind of what you want.”
Ohio State sophomore Alie Webster said she’s looking forward to having the full day to prepare for the game, which she's attending with her parents.
“I have all day to get prepared for it. I have my morning still, which is nice,” Webster told 10TV.
