Feeling the pass rushers nearing, Kincayde Eng’s sixth sense kept going off in the pocket. The Metro Christian senior quarterback came up with several improvised runs that pumped his team up and demoralized the crowd.

Metro Christian (2-0) dominated its way to a 41-14 win over Cascia Hall (1-1) at Ray Siegfried Stadium on Friday.

“In the second half obviously, a few turnovers. We were able to get some momentum going,” Metro Christian head coach Jared McCoy said. “But the defense in the second half was unbelievable. Offense really got it going in the second half. Super proud of our kids.”

After a scoreless first quarter, Metro Christian changed the scoreboard. A lengthy 17-play drive tired out the defense when Eng scrambled into the endzone with an 18-yard quarterback draw.
