HOPKINS, Minn. — A community event aimed at supporting those affected by the Annunciation tragedy was held Friday night at Mess Hall Arts in Hopkins.

The local bracelet company, "Embrace Our Soul", invited volunteers to bead bracelets to give to students and staff at Annunciation. Two weeks ago, a shooting at the church left more than a dozen students hurt and two killed as they attended a back-to-school Mass.

"It's more about what we create and putting intention into it and the messaging we're putting on each bracelet," said co-owner Jade Anderson. "It's more about the quality of what we're doing vs the quantity."

Their goal was 425 bracelets, each with a tag that reads, "This bracelet is a reminder that you are not alone. When the weight is too much, we carry it together. We walk with
