NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - An annual truck show is back in the oldest town in Texas to help raise funds for dozens of non-profits in the area. The Massey Rose Foundation brings in the Old Town Rig Down show every year. They expect to see 20,000 visitors over the two-day event.
Suzanne Avila said it’s her first time viewing all different color trucks on display and said she’s impressed of the work put in.
“The time and effort they must put into maintaining these, you know, polishing them and keeping them in good shape. Some of them are really beautiful,” she said.
150 truck drivers traveled from all over the country to the red bricks of downtown Nacogdoches including Yoanni Rodriguez from Miami.
