CLEVELAND, Ohio - A jury Friday found a Shaker Heights man guilty on all counts of raping and kidnapping six women he contacted through adult escort and entertainment websites.

Michael Mann, 53, was convicted in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court of nine counts of rape, six counts of kidnapping and two counts of gross sexual imposition following a three-day trial before Judge David Matia.

Matia will sentence Mann at a later date.

Mann’s offenses took place between 2021 and 2024, and his victims ranged in age from 26 to 35.

Megan Helton, an assistant county prosecutor, said at trial that Mann’s schemes followed a similar pattern: He would contact women in surrounding towns through advertisements they posted on websites that offered escort and massage services.
