Cocaine seized after officers smash into Portishead home Drug raid carried out in Portishead

Two people have been arrested after a drugs raid at a property in Portishead . Video shows officers using a battering ram, sometimes called the 'big red key' to gain access to a flat.

Officers searched properties in the Forth Avenue area under the Misuse of Drugs Act and seized cocaine, cannabis and cash from an address with the aid of a drug search dog.

Avon and Somerset Police say the resident was not inside the property and the two men found there did not live at the address.

Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.

Both have been released on bail while further enquiries are carried out.
