LITTLE FALLS — Even as sophomore, Richelle Thompson is skyrocketing up the Little Falls Flyers all-time leaderboard.
The middle attacker scored three goals in a win against Albany last week to put her in the top five in program history for career goals and points.
After six games this season, Thompson has 25 career goals and 37 career points. This is her third season on varsity.
“I’d say that Richelle has the physical gift of speed,” Little Falls’ head coach Scott Orians said. “She’s put so much work into her game to develop the skill that’s necessary to go along with that. She is a naturally left-footed player so she’s been working a lot on improving her right foot. She has one of the better right-footed shots on our team.
