After starting the season with two consecutive tests, the University of Toledo gets a freebie this week. But that doesn't mean the Rockets can no-show — Morgan State has a pulse.

Jason Candle is aware of what the Bears can do. And he delivered that message to his players this week.

“Our players have to understand they get 12 opportunities to play a game,” he said. “They all count as one. Don’t care who you play, where you play them at, what their history is, what program it is, and what it is. This is an opportunity to get better.”

Looming is the first Mid-American Conference game, a tough road test against Western Michigan. Lax preparation and a middling performance this weekend can creep into next week.
