ORLANDO, Fla. – In the National Hurricane Center’s 8 a.m. Saturday Tropical Weather Outlook, a small tropical wave near the Cabo Verde Islands was given a 0% chance of development in the next 48 hours and a 50% chance over the next seven days. 8 a.m. outlook
Dry air is expected to linger across the eastern Atlantic, limiting tropical development in the short term. However, conditions could become more favorable later in the week and a tropical depression may form by mid to late next week.
