NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A football game at North Little Rock High School on Friday night ended mid-game due to a shooting.

North Little Rock School District officials said the shooting occurred outside of the stadium on the visitor’s side at 8:18 p.m.

North Little Rock police confirmed one person in the stands received minor injuries from the gunfire. Benton Public Schools officials said that the parent was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

BPS officials added that all students and staff are safe.

No suspect or victim information has been released at this time.
