NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Police have provided an update on the investigation into a shooting that happened at a high school football game on Friday night.

North Little Rock Police Department officials said officers responded to the North Little Rock High School football stadium at 8:18 p.m.

Police said officers already inside the stadium found a man who had been shot in the visitor’s section of the stadium. Authorities said they found a man with a gunshot wound on his left side. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and has since been released, officials said.

Investigators said they are currently reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses, noting that the investigation is still in the early stages. Officials also said the origin of the gunfire is still under investigat
