LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) is investigating a shooting that took place at a football game on Friday night.

According to officials with the NLRPD, a man was shot while attending the game between North Little Rock and Benton.

Only minor injuries have been reported, but no information has been released regarding the victim's identity. He has since been taken to the hospital.

No suspect has been named, as information on the incident remains limited at this time.

North Little Rock School District officials shared that the shooting reportedly happened outside of the stadium, on the visitors' side. Meanwhile, school officials with the opposing team playing, Benton High School, explained that the shooting was allegedly "in the stadium bleachers."
