CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians No. 1 prospect Travis Bazzana was removed from a minor league game on Thursday with left oblique soreness according to reports from MLB.com and The Athletic. The club did not immediately confirm the reason for Bazzana’s departure.

The 23-year-old Australia native was hitless in two at-bats for Triple-A Columbus at St. Paul and had made a leaping catch at second base earlier in the game that might have led to the injury.
