UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) -- If you ever wondered if the museum really comes to life at night, you might get the chance to find out.
The American Museum of Natural History is bringing back its one-day-only event, A Night at the Museum: The Overnight Experience, on Oct. 24. Pre-sale tickets will be made available for museum members on Sep. 30 ahead of the general public sale on Oct. 7.
The program, inspired by the 2006 film "A Night at the Museum," welcomes kids and their caregivers to explore the iconic location after dark using only flashlights to see the exhibitions in a new way.
