KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Georgia football opens SEC play with its first game outside of Athens this season at Neyland Stadium with its capacity of 101,915, the sixth most nationally.

We will find out a lot about both the No. 3 Bulldogs and No. 15 Tennessee by the time this one is over.

Both teams are 2-0 with the Volunteers winning comfortably against Syracuse from the ACC and Georgia playing two non Power Four Conference opponents.

SEC play turns it up a notch, especially when this is a matchup of two CFP teams from last season.

“I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a difference,” Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling said. “We try to prepare for each opponent the same way but when it comes to the SEC schedule we ramp up the intensity.”
