LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Zach Hackleman became St. Edward’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving touchdowns Friday night at First Federal Lakewood Stadium in the Eagles’ 28-14 win vs. Glenville.

Hackleman, who set the school’s single-season records for yards and receptions by a receiver last season, again eclipsed two records previously set in 2014 by Alex Stump.

“It’s a blessing,” Hackleman said. “It’s an honor to be with those names and this, this name of a school like St. Edward.”

A Toledo commit, Hackleman quickly seized the receptions record on the first play from scrimmage as Jonny Evanchick found him on a quick pass toward St. Edward’s sideline. It gave Hackleman his 93rd reception, and he had more to come.
