NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (WSIL) — Authorities are looking for a suspect who was wanted on Saturday after photos were shared of him with a suspected gun and a dog in connection to an animal abuse investigation.

The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office said they identified a man after asking for the public’s help on the morning of September 13.

The sheriff’s office posted the video and photos of the man who was wearing a white shirt and pants.

As of 3:41 p.m. on September 13, authorities are still looking for the suspect and are withholding his name pending formal charges.
