BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Patriotism that sprouted after the 9/11 attacks filled the streets of Biloxi Saturday evening.

The Tunnels To Towers Foundation’s mission is to never forget the lives lost 24 years ago during the most devastating terrorist attack on U.S. soil, 9/11.

That’s what was on the minds of those running and climbing, honoring those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Harrison County Sheriff Matt Haley says it’s a privilege for Tunnels To Towers to bring an event like this down to the Gulf Coast.

Sheriff Haley says, “It serves two purposes. One, it honors our fallen first responders. Two, it raises money for families of first responders. We got a crew of people that come out here. As you can see, it is a full house. A lot of people come out and support the event, and
