D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - For nine years, The Bridge at Lakeview Village has worked to connect all to Jesus Christ.

On Saturday, church members and the community celebrated that commitment with worship, snacks, and games.

Leanne Burris is the pastor of the church. She prayed over each vehicle that arrived on the lot, giving a blessing and a unifying voice of praise.

“We thought, what better way to celebrate our birthday than to offer blessings to others,” she said.

Families were all there taking part in the celebration with popcorn, cornhole, and a selection of model cars to look at.

They even got a chance to soak in a side of education with the Mississippi Highway Patrol, who simulated the importance of seatbelt safety.
