A doctor and paramedic have shared what it is like working for — roles in which they help people deal with "the worst day of their lives." The air ambulance is sent to the most serious incidents and aims to get patients the critical care they need in the quickest way possible.
Whilst many people think the air ambulance is just used to , in many cases it is to transport everything a hospital can offer to the patient. Every time the helicopter goes on a mission it has a crew of four people aboard, this includes a pilot, co-pilot, doctor and paramedic.
