LARAMIE, Wyo. – After a slow-burning first half, Utah football took off after the break.

The Utes scored on both of their first two drives, and a pick from Jackson Bennee set the offense up outside of the red zone to make it three in a row.

The interception was Bennee’s second in two games. Last week against Cal Poly, he extended Utah football’s pick-six streak to 22 seasons.

In the first two weeks of the season, JJ Buchanan had three receptions for 29 yards. The touchdown catch was the fourth catch and first TD in his college career.

Quarterback Devon Dampier went 27/41 for 230 yards and two touchdowns over the first nine offensive possessions. He also had 13 carries for 86 yards.
