LARAMIE, Wyo. – After a first half filled with penalties and points left on the table, No. 20 Utah football took off in the second half to beat the Wyoming Cowboys, 31-6.
The Utes had 541 yards of total offense to 229 from the Cowboys. They also moved the chains 31 times and forced two turnovers.
Quarterback Devon Dampier completed 27 of 41 pass attempts for 230 yards and two touchdowns and added 86 yards with his legs. Larry Simmons, JJ Buchanan, Hunter Andrews, and NaQuari Rogers were the touchdown scorers in week three.
Up next for Utah is a Big Noon Kickoff matchup at home against the Texas Tech Red Raiders next Saturday.
