A mum-of-two caught behind the wheel of her car while more than four times the legal cannabis limit claims she smokes the drug to manage chronic back pain.
Natasha Mitchell, 33, was stopped on the A2 in Dover after officers said they could smell the class B substance wafting from her blue Fiat.
When they pulled her over near the Duke of York roundabout on February 28, they found a pot of herbal cannabis in the glove box.
She then failed a roadside drug swipe, before later giving a reading of 8.4 micrograms of THC per litre of blood in her system - more than four times the legal limit of two.
She admitted drug driving and possession of a class B drug when she appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
