Jayden Melendez had four catches for 40 yards and a touchdown to lead host Curtis to a 14-6 win over Lincoln in a PSAL 4A opener Friday night. Quadere Gomez had 21 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown. Vincent Canzoneri completed 11 of 22 passes for 137 yards and a score. Ndaime Diouck had two sacks.

Christian Borhi completed 18 of 36 passes for 213 passing yards for Lincoln. Javien Alvarez had three catches for 72 yards.

Brooklyn Tech 38, DeWitt Clinton 26 : Cole Scanlon completed 17 of 28 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns to lead visiting Brooklyn Tech. Ezra Josse had eight catches for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Caleb Fisher had five catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
