CHICO — Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. This is the meaning of PLUR, in the name of sisters Erika and Adilene Alaniz’s store, PLUR Aura Boutique.

“I’d like to think that we present ourselves as very open and welcoming to anyone from any kind of background or gender identity, especially as a woman-owned business,” said Adilene Alaniz.

The Alaniz sisters describe their shop as focusing on rave-wear, lingerie and sexual-health and wellness products. The store had a soft opening in December 2024, opening officially in January of this year. Through exploring sexuality, Erika Alaniz said people can feel more comfortable within their bodies and with their partners.
