Young people in Middlesbrough could miss out on slice of £30.5m funding if projects in the town don't act now.
The town is currently the only eligible area in the country not to have submitted any applications for a share of the Government's Better Youth Spaces grant funding - and there's just a week left until the deadline.
The fund was launched by the Prime Minister on Wednesday, 6 August and is offering grants of between £5,000 and £100,000 for youth organisations and councils in 42 priority areas – including Middlesbrough . Funding can be used for new equipment, vehicles such as minibuses, or small refurbishment projects to improve facilities for young people.
