Ricky Hatton had a devastating, decade-long rift with his parents before deciding to reach out and make amends six years ago.

The world boxing champion, who tragically died aged 46 on Sunday (September 14), previously opened up about his family and personal struggles in an interview with the Manchester Evening News in 2019.

Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton was found dead at his home in Gee Cross, Hyde this morning. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that a body has been found and said that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
