Sikh leaders today urged detectives to step up their efforts to find racists who raped a woman in broad daylight - telling officers 'you have 48 hours'.
More than 100 people met at parkland off Tame Road, Oldbury - the spot where a woman was raped in what West Midlands Police called a racially-aggravated attack - for a powerful demonstration this afternoon.
Community leaders called on police to to find the perpetrators, believed to have been two white men, after the victim was dragged into bushes, beaten and raped as she walked to work at around 8.30am on Tuesday, September 9.
