RICKY Hatton's last post on social media before his tragic death saw him gearing up for his massive comeback fight.

Posting on Instagram, he wrote "Thursday session in the bag" alongside a video of the 46-year-old intensely training.

The video received encouraging comments from supporters of the former fan favourite, with one telling him to "keep leading by example" and calling him the "people's champ".

Others called him a "huge inspiration" for getting back in the ring after his battle with inner demons.
