CANELO ALVAREZ will not make a decision on his boxing future until he spends some time with his newborn baby daughter.

Mexican great Alvarez was stunned in defeat to Terence Crawford in Las Vegas - surrendering his undisputed super-middleweight titles.

The mega-fight - which saw over 70,000 pack out the Allegiant Stadium - followed just one month after Canelo's baby daughter Eva Victoria was born.

So the father-of-four plans to make up for lost time before he can think about what comes next in his boxing career.

"I want to speak to my family for obviously the support that they always give me, Canelo said, through a translator.
