LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Louisville-based medical program has announced a new partnership.
The Future Healers Kiddos Medical Program , a collaboration between 2x Game Changes and the University of Louisville, which officials say is aimed at bridging the gap between Louisville’s youth most impacted by gun violence and the city’s health care community, is partnering with the San Francisco-based Mission: Brain Foundation.
According to a press release, Mission: Brain has 109 chapters across 27 countries aimed at enhancing access to education and neurosurgical care worldwide.
Future Healers said with the collaboration, the organizations hope to empower young learns in the U.S. and abroad, expanding their knowledge of neuroscience and health sciences.
