Ricky Hatton's only son, Campbell, suffered the devastating loss of his best friend just months before the tragic death of his father.
The legendary Manchester boxer was found dead at his home in Greater Manchester on Sunday morning (September 14).
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the discovery of a body of man aged 46 and stated that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Hatton, who won six world titles across three weight divisions, will be remembered as one of the UK's best fighters of his generation.
He would have celebrated his 47th birthday next month and leaves behind three children, including his son Campbell, who also had a professional boxing career.
Campbell was once tipped as a future star before making the sudden decision to retire at the tender age of 24.
