NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 36-year-old motorcyclist has died after being involved in a crash in Madison Sunday afternoon.

A press release from the Metro Nashville Police Department said the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Gallatin Pike South.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a Toyota Rav4 slowed down to turn right into a parking lot when a motorcycle struck the truck from behind. Police said the motorcyclist was ejected from his Harley Davidson; though he was transported to Skyline Medical Center, he died from his injuries. There were no signs of impairment at the scene, police added.
