ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The New Mexico State Fair wrapped up with a robust attendance, as patrons and vendors alike celebrated the event's success despite previous weather challenges.

"Yesterday, the weather wasn't great," Pat Aranda said. "We thought the crowds were going to be crazy, but today, it's absolutely amazing."

From patrons to vendors, everyone agrees that the turnout is always reliable and so is the energy to be found.

Last year, Expo New Mexico recorded 520,000 attendees. This year, they believe another half a million people attended, and if it weren't for weather delays, even more could have shown up. Nonetheless, they say it's good to see how the State Fair offers so much to people attending and people working.
