ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico State Fair is a time-honored tradition for fairgoers and vendors alike. The 11-day event is rooted in family and community gathering over delicious meals.
"Well, this is one of the oldest concession stands here at the New Mexico State Fair. It's been here since 1971. Same ownership, it's been in the family. Same recipe, same location, since 1971," explained Gabriel Mendoza, Co-Owner, The Original Green Chile Corn Dog On A Stick.
While many vendors have come and gone over the years, Rex's Burgers and The Original Green Chile Corn Dog On A Stick booth have stood the test of time. "My father was involved with the company that did actually the Nebraska State Fair. So he said, 'Sure, we'd do it.' So we came out and we did it. And we've been here ever
