The New York Jets took it on the chin on Sunday. The Buffalo Bills left no doubt as to which was the better team, overwhelming the Jets in a 30 -10 blowout. The Jets were never competitive, with the Bills opening up a 20 – 0 lead before the midpoint of the second quarter. The Jets never got closer than 17 points thereafter, as the Bills dominated the Jets in every aspect of the game. Following one of the best games of his career on opening day against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jets quarterback Justin Fields was dreadful, completing just three passes for less than 30 yards before getting knocked out of the game with a head injury in the fourth quarter.
