HBO’s “Hacks” will be ending after five seasons.

Hannah Einbinder, who plays Ava Daniels on the hit comedy drama, shared the news with E! host Heather McMahan (via Variety ) on the red carpet of the 77th Emmy Awards on Sunday.

“We’re going to start [filming] next week, and knowing it’s the last season is really bittersweet. But I think it’s right, you know? It’s nice to do something as many times as it should be done. Not overstay your welcome. Rip it and do it and laugh and cry,” Einbinder said.

McMahan repeated the “rip it” quote back to Einbinder, who responded: “You can quote me on that. I’m going on the record on that.”
