A 14-year-old has died after a dirt bike crash in Hebron over the weekend.

State police said Erik Brooker, of Hebron, was riding a dirt bike heading west on Burnt Hill Road on Sunday around 5:25 p.m. when he missed a curve in the road and lost control.

After losing control, investigators said Brooker went off of the right side of the road and hit a rocky embankment.

Brooker was transported to Marlborough Middlesex Clinic by EMS to be treated for serious, life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

Anyone who may have witnessed this accident or anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Connecticut State Police.
