DETROIT - Detroit is about to get its first Apple store and the technology company has announced when the grand opening will be.

The store will open on Friday, September 19, the same day Apple drops its new iPhone 17 series .

Located at 1430 Woodward Avenue , right next to the Shinola Hotel, the Apple store will be open from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. on Friday. Its first week store hours will be:

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are available in three new finishes: deep blue, cosmic orange, and silver.

Apple also introduced its iPhone Air, the thinnest iPhone ever made. It will be available in four different finishes: space black, cloud white, light gold, and sky blue
