Two citizens of the Dominican Republic are facing federal charges for allegedly resisting immigration arrests during separate incidents in June in Massachusetts, amid the Trump administration’s ongoing crackdown on undocumented migrants.

Massachusetts US Attorney Leah B. Foley’s office identified the two men as Cesar Pena Pimental, 29, and Eddy Rafael Matos-Lara, 35.

No lawyers were listed for either man in court papers, and no arraignment dates have been scheduled in US District Court in Boston.

Foley’s office said Pimental and Matos-Lara are both charged with one count of “forcibly assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating, or interfering with federal officers engaged in the performance of official duties.”
