Coronation Street star Vicky Myers was seen shying away from the latest praise for her portrayal of DS Lisa Swain in the long-running show as she shared her own sweet message.

The actress was hailed by fans of the ITV soap at the end of last week as they watched her character react to the return of her wife, Becky Swain, who was supposedly dead.

Those who follow the show will know that Lisa has recently been struggling to overcome her past, particularly after the death of her colleague PC Craig Tinker brought back memories of Becky's demise, with it thought she had died in the line of duty.
