Police involved in guarding Donald Trump on his UK state visit insist they’re ready for anything. ‌

But officers stressed that plans haven’t changed in the wake of the assassination of his close ally Charlie Kirk last week. ‌

They said the security provision was already supporting a “very high threat level” and they’re “very content” they have “everything we need in place” ahead of the visit. ‌
