New Kent, Va. (WWBT) - One student was injured in a bus crash in New Kent. The crash happened on the grounds of Quinton Elementary School.

All students on board and the bus driver are safe, and no major injuries have been reported. All students were safely transported to school, and classes continued as scheduled.

Principal Christine Pilger and Assistant Principal Sarah Berry of Quinton Elementary School personally contacted all parents and guardians of students who were on the affected bus to provide direct communication about the incident.
