The desperate hunt for a man who went into a Scottish river at the weekend has entered its third day. ‌

Operations at the River Leven, near Renton , West Dunbartonshire, are still underway after officers received reports that a man had gone into the water there at about 7.30pm on Saturday, September 13. ‌

Police, Coastguard and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service raced to the scene on Saturday evening. ‌

Emergency teams returned to the location on Sunday but the man, described as wearing a grey hat and a dark grey jacket, has not yet been found.

Teams were today (Monday) still carrying out searches of the area for clues.
