Fire crews were called to a zoo after wolves tunneled through their enclosure.
Essex County Fire and Rescue's urban search and rescue team was called after Colchester Zoo issued a plea for searching the tunnels.
The zoo is home to Eurasian gray wolves , which dig dens for their pups.
The search and rescue teams were able to "clear" the tunnels excavated by the pack and search them.
A spokesperson for Essex Fire's urban search and rescue team said: "The team had an interesting request last week.
"Colchester Zoo keepers needed help to search tunnels that the wolves had made within their enclosure.
"The team used search cameras and mounted cameras on a small remote vehicle. All the tunnels were cleared, and the team got to say hi to the other animals within the zoo a
