LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Funeral arrangements for longtime Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw have been set.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 22. at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village.

There will be a funeral mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.

Holsclaw passed away on Sept. 10 at her home, according to family members.

She served as clerk since 1999 and was the first clerk to successfully implement private voting for the visually impaired and physically challenged voters in Jefferson County.

Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg will be in charge of appointing Holsclaw’s replacement. That person will hold the job until next year’s election when you can vote in the new county clerk.
