A Farmington Hills man has been charged in connection with allegedly targeting a 15-year-old boy online for sex.
Jamel Rishard Hoze, 38, was arraigned Friday through 16th District Court on charges of accosting a minor for immoral purposes, using a computer to commit a crime and distributing sexually explicit matter to a child, records show.
He received a $300,000 cash bond with a GPS tether and was ordered to have no contact with minors.
No attorney was listed in court records as representing Hoze.
Investigators determined Hoze used an online dating app to get the Livonia teen to meet up with him April 17 in a parking structure on the 37000 block of Six Mile Road "for the purpose of having inappropriate sexual contact," the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said.
