LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The North Little Rock District Court Criminal Clerk stated that Officer Tommy Norman has been released on a $350 bond following his arrest.

Officer Norman was taken into custody late Saturday night and is facing a charge of third-degree domestic battery.

In an arrest report over the weekend, NLRPD officers said that when they spoke to Norman’s wife, she said he struck her on the right side of her chest with the back of his hand during an argument. Officers said that they saw a slight injury visible on her chest.

The arrest report also said that when Norman spoke to officers, he told them he was being slapped and caused the injury while trying to block the slaps. Officers did not report seeing any injuries on Norman.
